Travel to Japan

From Europe several airlines can bring you to Japan.  For specific information please visit their websites.  Some examples:

Travelers from Belgium can fly with KLM (Dutch company with take off in Amsterdam) or with AirFrance (French company with take off in Paris).  With AirFrance you can depart from Brussels South or Antwerp (Berchem).  From this location you can take the high speed train (TGV) to Paris - Charles de Gaulle.

The closest airport to Noda and Ayase is Tokyo - Narita.  If you would like to save some money book as soon as possible.

From Tokyo - Narita a train (JR - Narita Line) will bring you to Kashiwa via Abiko.  From Kashiwa you take the train (JR1 - Joban Line) to Ayase. Or you can take the train (TR2 - Tobu Noda line) from Kashiwa to Noda-Shi.

Transportation in and around Tokyo

If you are use to Belgian railways you will be delighted to use Japanese transportation.  Fast, cheap and accurate.  Japan has several railway companies.  I travelled with 2 companies: Japan Railways and Tobu Railways.  If you travel in Japan don't forget to printout some trainmaps.  It makes travelling a lot easier.  Some links...
